The Orleans Hotel and Casino has announced An Evening with Jerry Lewis - Live from Las Vegas!, a one-night-only celebration at The Orleans Showroom, Sunday, November 18 at 8 p.m. The event will be filmed for a PBS television special premiering around Lewis's 87th birthday in March 2013. Motion Picture Academy to Honor Jerry Lewis with Humanitarian Award

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced today that their board of governors have voted to give Jerry Lewis the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. Lewis is to be presented with the special Oscar statuette on February 22, 2009 during the 81st Annual Academy Awards. (more...)
