A Red Orchid Theatre  has announced the cast and creative team behind the Chicago Premiere of IN QUIETNESS by Anna Ouyang Moench, directed by Ensemble Member dado. 

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, announces the extension of All My Sons by Arthur Miller, directed by Charles Newell and featuring Kate Collins, John Judd and Timothy Edward Kane. All My Sons now runs through February 18, 2018 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Second Stage Theater's (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) production of SOMEBODY'S DAUGHTER has been extended by one week and will now play through Sunday, June 25.

As previously announced, Second Stage Theatre will begin the 2017 Uptown Series with the world premiere of Chisa Hutchinson's SOMEBODY'S DAUGHTER, directed by MAY ADRALES.

???????A Red Orchid Theatre concludes its 2016-2017 Season with the Chicago premiere of 3C, written by David Adjmi and directed by Ensemble Member Shade Murray. The production runs April 20 - June 4, 2017, at A Red Orchid Theatre, 1531 N. Wells. The press opening is Monday, April 24 at 7:00 p.m.

Wareham is thrilled to announce the third show in the Laguna Playhouse 2016-2017 season, CHAPATTI, written by Christian O'Reilly and directed by David Ellenstein, based on the direction of Judith Ivey. "I just fell in love with this play and the beautiful and quirky love story at its center.  I think our audiences are about to fall in love with it too," says Wareham.  CHAPATTI will begin previews on Wednesday, January 11; will open on Sunday, January 15 at 5:30pm and will run through Sunday, January 29, 2016 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

?Due to popular demand, A Red Orchid Theatre adds six performances to the run of the world premiere of Sender by Ike Holter, directed by Ensemble Member Shade Murray. Featuring Ensemble Member Steve Haggard, the cast of Sender also includes McKenzie Chinn, Mary Williamson and Steven Wilson. The Mutilated will now run through March 13, 2016. Steep Theatre's upcoming Fourteenth Season features a slate of four premieres directed by a lineup of Chicago's hottest directors. Steep Artistic Associates Jonathan Berry, Joanie Schultz, and Robin Witt, who have accounted for some of Steep's most memorable shows in recent years, return home to direct this season.

Chester Theatre Company will open its 25th Anniversary Season with J.T. Rogers' haunting mystery MADAGASCAR. The production, which runs from June 25th through July 6th at the Chester Town Hall in Chester, MA, will feature CTC favorites Debra Jo Rupp (A Body of Water) and Kim Stauffer (Crime and Punishment).

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced a world premiere play along with a New York premiere new musical which will be presented as part of the company's eleventh annual Second Stage Theatre Uptown Series this summer: Erica Lipez's The Tutors, directed by Thomas Kail and Murder For Two with Book and Music by Joe Kinosian and Book and Lyrics by Kellen Blair.

Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Beth Henley's 100-proof comedy THE MISS FIRECRACKER CONTEST, starring film and television actress Amber Tamblyn and directed by Tony Award winner Judith Ivey, will bow on Broadway in the spring of 2013. THE MISS FIRECRACKER CONTEST marks Ms. Tamblyn's Broadway debut and Ms. Ivey's Broadway debut as director, and is produced by HOP Theatricals. Broadway theater and dates to be announced.

The Bridge Theatre Company presents the American premiere of Canadian playwright Matthew MacKenzie's The Particulars, as part of the 16th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC. The Particulars marks the third consecutive year at FringeNYC for the Bridge Theatre Company, following last year's production of Nicolas Billon's Greenland, winner of the Fringe Festival Award for Overall Excellence in Playwriting, and 2010's critically acclaimed production of The Swearing Jar, by Kate Hewlett.
