LES ENFANTS DE PARIS Premieres at NYMF 10/3by BWW News Desk - Sep 26, 2011War, Muslim Relations, Xenophobia and the struggles of disenfranchised youth are among the contemporary themes highlighted in Les Enfants de Paris, a world premiere musical premiering October 3rd as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival. Donna Drake directs a cast of seven including, Adam Halpin (Glory Days), Nadine Malouf , Sevan Greene (Aftermath, Betrayed), Megan Reinking (Million Dollar Quartet, Hair, Boardwalk Empire), Jed Resnick (Avenue Q), Dan Kohler (Blue Man Group), and Blake Segal. An Arab in My Mirror has been featured at the Rawabet Space in Cairo, Egypt and at The Centre Choregraphique National in France. The piece will be performed by French and American actors. News Desk - Feb 24, 2011The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF), New York's premiere French cultural center, presents special performances by two of France's iconic actors, Carole Bouquet and Francis Huster. On February 24, two-time César winner Carole Bouquet will perform Lettres à Génica, a reading of letters by the French poet and playwright Antonin Artaud to his love, Romanian actress Génica Athanasiou. And on March 3, renowned actor and former member of La Comédie Française Francis Huster will present his award-winning adaptation of Nobel Laureate Albert Camus' La Peste.
