Nick Lachey Returns to THE SING-OFF on NBC

Multi-platinum recording artist Nick Lachey is set to return as host of NBC's upcoming a cappella singing competition series, 'The Sing-Off,' a five-night holiday event premiering Monday, December 6 (8-10 p.m. ET). The one-of-a-kind battle of voices will continue on December 8, 13 and 15, culminating in a live finale on December 20 (8-10 p.m. ET each night). (more...)

NBC Announces Special Holiday Episode of THE SING-OFF, 12/5

NBC has announced that its hit a capella singing competition, THE SING-OFF, is expanding its season with an additional holiday themed live episode, "A Sing-Off Christmas," on Monday, December 5 (8-10 p.m. ET) featuring groups from all three seasons including season two winners Committed, season one winners Nota, The Backbeats, Beelzebubs, On the Rocks, Street Corner Symphony and many of the top ten groups from season three. Jerry Mitchell to Direct/Choreograph HAIRSPRAY at the Hollywood Bowl

Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell has been announced as the director/choreographer of the Hollywood Bowl's production of HAIRSPRAY, the 2003 winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, in addition to holding the record as the 20th longest running show in Broadway history. Lon Hoyt has been announced as the musical director of the production. Mitchell was the original choreographer of Hairspray on Broadway, and Hoyt was the original musical director of the Broadway production. (more...)
