La compañía EGOS TEATRE volverá a poner sobre los escenarios de Barcelona LA CASA SOTA LA SORRA. En este caso será del 27 de junio al 29 de julio en el Teatre Borrás. The Finborough Theatre Presents Gilbert and Sullivan's THE GRAND DUKE,

The New Actors Company in association with Neil McPherson for the Finborough Theatre presents THE GRAND DUKE. The Finborough Theatre's 'Celebrating British Music Theatre' series continues with the first fully staged professional UK production of Gilbert and Sullivan's final operetta, The Grand Duke, since the original 1896 production. It opens at the Finborough Theatre for a strictly limited run of six Sundays and Mondays from Sunday, 1 April 2012. (more...)

BWW TV: Se estrena 'La casa sota la sorra' de Egos Teatre en el Teatre Borràs

El pasado jueves se estrenó en el Teatre Borràs de Barcelona, la obra 'La casa sota la sorra' adaptación del grupo teatral EGOS Teatre sobre la novela de Joaquim Carbó, conocido por obras como 'Ruddigore', 'En Joan Petit sense por' etc,. Después de una muy buena acogida en el Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, el musical protagonizado por Anna Alborch, Lali Camps, Rubèn Montañá, Albert Mora, Francesc Mora,Toni Sans y Maria Santalluisa, vuelve del 28 de junio al 29 de julio a la ciudad condal. 'El Crimen de Lord Arthur Savile' de EGOS Teatre llegará a Madrid en Marzo

La compañía EGOS Teatre volverá al Teatro Fernán Gómez de Madrid el próximo 17 de marzo para presentar en la capital su más reciente producción, El Crimen de Lord Arthur Savile. Este musical, que hasta hace poco se ha podido ver en catalán en la Sala Gran del TNC de Barcelona, está basado en el relato homónimo de Oscar Wilde. (more...)

Se prepara La Guía Ilustrada del Musical en España

Bajo el título provisional de 'Guía Ilustrada del Musical en España' (1955-2012), se prepara una nueva publicación que pretende reoger todos y cada uno de los espectáculos músico-teatrales estrenados en este país, dando cabida a producciones de todos los formatos y procedencias, tanto adaptaciones como creación propia. Esta labor de investigación está siendo realizada por Iñigo Santamaría y el desaparecido Xavi Martínez. (more...)

The Lincolnshire Marriott's "Pirates": Theatrically Good to Great, But Musically Frustrating

In our time and place, the great Marriott Theatre to the north of Chicago, in Lincolnshire, in the collar county of Lake, has mounted a production of "The Pirates of Penzance" which officially opened this past weekend, and will run through June 10, 2012. It's directed by Dominic Missimi, a visionary musical theater director and teacher with vast experience and influence across the country, and especially here. (more...)
