'Loose Chicks' will be at Emerald City Coffee, 3938 N Sheridan Ave, in May! Roberta Miles and Erin Lane, the 'Loose Chicks' will be starring in and presenting an hour long performance based on their experiences through life. Guest Chicks Dana Norris and Tamale will be featured this month. This juicy, gutsy, ballsy, cutting edge look at life through the eyes of three femme fatales will be presented at Emerald City Coffee. The Met's spring 2013 Costume Institute exhibition, PUNK: Chaos to Couture, runs from May 9, 2013 to August 14, 2013. It will examine punk's impact on high fashion from the movement's birth in the early 1970s through its continuing influence today. Featuring approximately one hundred designs for men and women, the exhibition will include original punk garments and recent, directional fashion to illustrate how haute couture and ready-to-wear borrow punk's visual symbols. Haven Theatre Opens HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, 7/5

Haven Theatre Chicago will present the company's inaugural production, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, July 5 - August 11, at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. Hedwig and the Angry Inch, written by John Cameron Mitchell, with lyrics and music by Stephen Trask is directed by Kyle Trent with music direction by Kory Danielson. The newly formed Haven Theatre strives to conserve, renew and reinvent theatre traditions while providing ongoing support and mentorship to emerging artists. The performance schedule is Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m. Preview performances areFriday, July 5 and Saturday, July 6 at 10:30 p.m. and Sunday, July 7 at 6 p.m. Opening night is Monday, July 8 at 7:30 p.m. Preview performance tickets are $20 and the all other tickets prices are $32. NJSO Announces New Members to the Board of Trustees

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra welcomes two new members of its Board of Trustees. Gregory Khost and Roberta Renard join a board that is charged with establishing policies that assist in the successful implementation of the NJSO's mission and vision. Khost is managing director of U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management; Renard founded and owns Renard Communications, which publishes Diversity/Careers in Engineering & Information Technology.
