Bring your pooch out to Bark Place on Saturday May 18th to audition with Larry Coen, playing Launce in our 2013 Free Shakespeare on the Common production of The Two Gentlemen of Verona. The Hub Network Reveals June Lineup

Starting in June, two new series and three returning series will premiere on HUB Network, a destination for kids and their families. The new series include the popular U.K. adventure-fantasy series 'Wizards vs Aliens' from Executive Producer Russell T Davies ('Doctor Who') and 'SheZow,' an Australian series featuring a 12-year-old boy who inherits the superhero persona of his deceased aunt - the kick-butt, FEMALE superhero SheZow! Additionally, HUB Network will feature original episodes of 'The Aquabats! Super Show!' from Awesome Forces Productions, as well as 'Pound Puppies' and 'Kaijudo: Clash of the Duel Masters,' both from Hasbro Studios. (more...)

BWW Reviews: BARK IN THE PARK Treats Young Audiences to Ballet

Ballet at its best connects the audience to the art of dance and succeeds in captivating them with a story or theme. Bark in the Park by The New York Theatre Ballet did just that with their debut performance at El Museo Del Barrio at 1230 Fifth Avenue in New York City on Tuesday, February 5th. Young and old alike were fascinated as NYTB dancers performed the story of the Tucker family who lose their beloved family dog, Mr. Benjamin, in Central Park. (more...)

Sprout® today announced several new network programs including Ruff-Ruff, Tweet & Dave and the second season of The Chica Show, as part of the 24-hour preschool network’s growing line-up of new series. The world’s most famous chicken, Chica, returns in Sprout’s original series The Chica Show, which was Sprout’s highest-rated original series premiere to-date when it launched in November 2012 and is featured every Saturday morning during the NBC Kids block.
