BWW Interviews: Scott RC Levy, Max Ferguson and Cory Moosman Discuss Fine Arts Center's THE DROWSY CHAPERONE

Starting today, the Fine Arts Center is delivering a love letter to musical comedy with The Drowsy Chaperone, a show the New York Times praised as 'a revved-up spoof of a 1920s song-and-dance frolic.' At a recent dress rehearsal I was able to sit down with several members of the cast and crew, beginning with Scott RC Levy, director of the Fine Arts Center who is making his Colorado acting debut as Man in Chair, the character guides the audience through the cast recording of the titular Jazz Age musical. BATH TIME Will Play Edinburgh Fringe Festival

Joe Hutcheson shares a hilarious collection of stories about growing up gay in the Hutcheson family, where all the men are nicknamed 'Hutch' and boys who identify with soap opera heroines can't identify with their dads. Until they grow up. Whether trying to get kicked off the football team or making his brother act out scenes from soap operas, Hutcheson shows the audience the 1980's through the eyes of a little gay boy who doesn't want to be a Hutch. Jason Graae is a comic genius. With his flawless changes from personality to personality, one might think 'Little Me' a One-Man Show. But a fantastic ensemble also mounts an impossible-to-ignore smorgasbord of ever-changing, delightful characters.
