Photo Blast from the Past: Marcel Marceauby Walter McBride - Nov 8, 2012Today, we're featuring Marcel Marceau in 1983. Marceau joined Jean-Louis Barrault's company and was soon cast in the role of Arlequin in the pantomime, Baptiste (which Barrault had interpreted in the film Les Enfants du Paradis). In 1947 Marceau created Bip the Clown and was first played at the Théâtre de Poche (Pocket Theatre) in Paris. In his appearance he wore a striped pullover and a battered, beflowered silk opera hat. News Desk - Jan 7, 2013Following a sell-out winter season in 2011, SLAVA'S SNOWSHOW returns to London's Southbank Centre for a white Christmas season in 2012. The show's return to the Royal Festival Hall follows a UK Tour in 2011 which saw unseasonable snowstorms in Nottingham, Plymouth, Southampton, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Salford, Milton Keynes and Birmingham. Rocky Mountain Deaf Theatre Presents James 'JJ' Jones, 4/12-13by BWW News Desk - Apr 5, 2013James 'JJ' Jones has been deaf since birth, but can partially hear with his hearing aid.
