Palm Beach Dramaworks Continues Musical Theatre Masters Series With MAN OF LA MANCHA, Beginning 7/10

Following a sold-out engagement of Camelot in concert this past January, Palm Beach Dramaworks is proud to announce the next two musicals in their new Musical Theatre Masters program. Man of La Mancha will kick off the summer series on Wednesday, July 10 and run through July 21, with Carousel up next from Wednesday, August 7 through August 18 at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre (201 Clematis Street). Directed by Clive Cholerton, the legendary musicals will play two weeks of performances. (more...)

PCPA Prepares for the 2013 Summer Season

PCPA Theaterfest's upcoming 2013 Summer Season - which runs from June 13 through September 29 - features an effervescent assortment of theatrical experiences including musicals, comedies and penetrating drama. With the Marian Theatre in the midst of renovations, the Severson Theatre will be the primary Santa Maria venue for two productions, while Solvang will host two transferring shows and two productions which will play exclusively in the outdoor Festival Theater. Light Opera Works Presents H.M.S. PINAFORE, Opening 6/8

H.M.S. PINAFORE, Gilbert and Sullivan's musical comedy of manners, has been a calling card of Light Opera Works ever since the company presented it as its inaugural production in 1981. The Pinafore sails once more onto the stage of Evanston's Cahn Auditorium in a new production, with 26-piece orchestra, June 8 to 16. The score includes: 'I'm Called Little Buttercup,' 'When I Was a Lad,' 'I Am the Captain of the Pinafore' and many others. (more...)

I am thrilled to announce two more productions for our 2013-2014 Season. The first production at the American Airlines Theatre will be a revival of The Winslow Boy by Terence Rattigan, directed by Lindsay Posner and starring Roger Rees and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio. We will also produce the World Premiere of Cutie and Bear, a Roundabout Commission by Bekah Brunstetter that will be directed by Evan Cabnet at the Laura Pels Theatre. (more...)
