Telemundo Studios confirmed it signed an exclusive multi-project deal with well-known Mexican telenovela star Aaron Diaz. Today in 1954, Damn Yankees opened at the 46th Street Theatre (now the Richard Rodgers Theatre), where it ran for 1019 performances. Damn Yankees is a musical comedy with a book by George Abbott and Douglass Wallop and music and lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross. The story is a modern retelling of the Faust legend set during the 1950s in Washington, D.C., during a time when the New York Yankees dominated Major League Baseball. (more...)

BBC America Renews ORPHAN BLACK for Second Season

BBC AMERICA has renewed highly acclaimed original series, Orphan Black, for a second season to return as part of Supernatural Saturday in 2014. The conspiracy clone thriller starring Tatiana Maslany has been re-commissioned with a 10-episode order from Temple Street Productions, ahead of its season one finale on Saturday, June 1. (more...)

Tommy Hilfiger Launches Surf Shack Summer Program with Art Production Fund

The Tommy Hilfiger Group, which is wholly owned by PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH], celebrated the launch of its limited edition Surf Shack capsule collection and collaboration with Art Production Fund (APF) - an ongoing partner of the Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation - at No. 8 in New York City. The event also announced the cross-continent Surf Shack bus tour starting in San Diego in June. The customized Surf Shack bus will travel to cities across North America, opening up as a mobile pop-up shop to sell the capsule collection, the artist-designed surf boards and other specialty product.
