Berkeley Playhouse Opens 5th Season with THE SOUND OF MUSIC, Now thru 12/2

Berkeley Playhouse opens its fifth season with Rodgers and Hammerstein's beloved final collaboration, THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Berkeley Playhouse founding Artistic Director Elizabeth McKoy helms this endearing family classic, featuring a cast of 40, with musical direction by Greg Mason and choreography by Staci Arriaga. The series will feature re-creations and interviews with women who recount their experiences that are said to be so unbelievable that they must be true. Starring in a new Lifetime series 'My Life is a Lifetime Movie' and with her new book 'Stalking a Diva' due out this fall, Leandra Ramm tells her amazing life story in an unforgettable one night engagement. The show focuses on the chilling cyber stalking experience that left her feeling imprisoned and helpless without protection from the U.S. legal system. Despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Leandra's perserverance and determination led her to eventually win her legal case. Begining with her unique origins from ' The Genius Sperm Bank', followed by her world traveling adventures, Leandra's life has been nothing short of exciting. Composer Fred Coscia has announced the release of his holiday single, 'Magical Christmas Cheer' featuring vocals by renowned actress and vocalist Leandra Ramm.
