CHICAGO, THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN Set for Valencia College Theater's 2013-14 Season

The Valencia College Theater is proud to announce its upcoming 2013-2014 season of productions. This year, Valencia is adding a new element to each theatrical production -- a talk-back session during the run of the show. STAGE TUBE: On This Day 6/12- PIPPIN

Today in 1977, Pippin closed at the Minskoff Theatre, after having played 1944 performances. Pippin is a musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Roger O. Hirson. Bob Fosse, who directed the original Broadway production, also contributed to the libretto. The musical uses the premise of a mysterious acting troupe, led by a Leading Player, to tell the story of Pippin, a young prince on his search for meaning and significance. The original cast included: Eric Berry, Jill Clayburgh, Leland Palmer, Irene Ryan, Ben Vereen, and John Rubinstein. (more...)

The producers of the recently crowned 2013 Tony Award winning Best Revival of a Musical PIPPIN are pleased to announce that a new block of tickets have gone on sale and seats are now available for purchase through January 5, 2014. The producers of I Forgive You, Ronald Reagan, the new play by John S. Anastasi, in which the present is on a collision course with the past, are pleased to announce the cast and creative team for a limited Off-Broadway run this summer.
