THE ASSEMBLED PARTIES Announces Second Extension; Tickets Now On Sale Through July 7

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced a second extension for THE ASSEMBLED PARTIES, the hit world premiere play by Tony Award winner Richard Greenberg, directed by MTC's award-winning artistic director Lynne Meadow. An additional three weeks have been added to the critically acclaimed limited engagement, with tickets now on sale through Sunday, July 7 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre(261 West 47th Street). New York Live Arts to Stage World Premiere of Yasuko Yokoshi's BELL, 3/16; Live Stream Set for 3/23

New York Live Arts will present the world premiere of Yasuko Yokoshi's BELL on March 16, 2013 at 7:30pm in its Bessie Schonberg Theater. Yokoshi was appointed as the inaugural Resident Commissioned Artist (RCA) of New York Live Arts in July 2011. The RCA program identifies and supports outstanding mid-career artists and is one of the most generous and supportive awards offered to a choreographer in the United States, providing two years of residency time and a commission of a new work, as well as salary and benefits. New York Live Arts Stages World Premiere of Yasuko Yokoshi's BELL; Live Stream Set for Today

Subsequent performances of BELL will also take place through today, March 23, 2013 at 7:30pm in New York Live Arts' Theater. There will be a Live Stream of the performance tonight, March 23 at 7:30pm, Eastern Standard Time, at newyorklivearts.org. Corel today kicked off the CorelDRAW International Design Contest. Until June 30, 2013, users from around the world can submit work they created using CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT X6. In a world where miracles often seem irrational and hope is fleeting, EC Stilson lost everything and became a homeless street violinist. Two years later, her life fell deeper into despair when her infant son died. Time passed and Stilson gained the courage to publish her first novel, 'The Golden Sky,' the story of her late son. She then started Wayman Publishing. Stilson's been a homeless musician, a grieving mother, a celebrated author, a publisher-a failure and a success. As Stilson said herself, 'All of my literary accomplishments and triumphs with Wayman Publishing are because something terrible happened and, with God's willingness, caring people gave me the courage to overcome any obstacle.' The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University has announced that three-time Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston will play the lead role of Lyndon Baines Johnson in Robert Schenkkan's new play All The Way opening the A.R.T.'s 2013-14 Season at the Loeb Drama Center.
