Kristin Chenoweth's GCB Music Now Offered on ABC Music Lounge

The soap returned to Dallas with the premiere of 'GCB,' SUNDAY, MARCH 4 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Beginning that same day, the ABC Music Lounge (http://abc.go.com/music-lounge/) began featuring songs from the 'GCB' premiere episode and video clips from the show. Norwegian Film Secures Rights to Use BEATLES Music

BEATLES, one of Lars Saabye Christensen's most defining works, is now finally to make the transition to the silver screen. The film has been in the planning for several years, and can now be realised, after a long process of securing the music rights. Producers Randall L. Wreghitt, Chris Presley and Ellen Rusconi announced today that Warren Carlyle, the director/choreographer of the current acclaimed Broadway revival of Finian's Rainbow, has joined the creative team of the Broadway-bound musical PURE COUNTRY. Country Music Star Lorrie Morgan Joins Cast Of Broadway's PURE COUNTRY, Opens Early 2010

Multi-platinum Country music star Lorrie Morgan has been cast in the Broadway-bound production of the hit movie PURE COUNTRY, producers Randall L. Wreghitt, Chris Presley and Ellen Rusconi announced today. Morgan joins fellow Country music star Joe Nichols to headline the new musical that is expected to open on Broadway in early 2010. As previously announced, Nichols takes on the role of ?Rusty' [?Dusty' in the movie], which was made famous in the film by George Strait. Morgan now joins him to play the role of ?Lula,' Rusty's ruthless manager, which was created on film by Lesley Anne Warren. (more...)

Country Music Star Joe Nichols Cast As Lead In New Musical PURE COUNTRY

Country music star, CMA Winner, ACM Winner and four-time Grammy Nominee Joe Nichols has been offered the role made famous by George Strait in the Broadway production of the hit movie, Pure Country. To say that last week's American Idol elimination was a shocker is the understatement of the century. In fact, Pia Toscano's untimely departure from the show seems to have left a bad taste in the mouths of Idol fans everywhere, with Pia being the subject of talk show chats and internet gossip all week.
