There will be Latin entertainment, dancing, food and drinks by Crab Island Cantina. That evening there will be a Latin Pub Crawl throughout the HarborWalk. Wristbands for this can be purchased for $10 with proceeds going to the Emerald Coast Autism Society. On Sunday the 5th, festivities will begin at noon with Roller Derby teams across the area to kickstart the day. There will also be a nacho eating contest and more activities for the whole family. But for some, too much sweating will not only interfere with daily routines, but sabotage socializing. One in five adults in the United States is burdened by their underarm sweat. The scientific term for excessive sweating is hyperhidrosis, a medical condition known for causing uncontrollable sweating through sweat glands. Prescription antiperspirants, Botox and surgery have been the most widely used treatments for excessive sweating, but without surgery, no treatments have proven as long-lasting and effective. MiraDry is a non-invasive microwave-based technology for the treatment of hyperhidrosis.
