Drowning Pool Announce Second Leg of Summer Headlining Tour

Hot off the release of their fifth studio album Resilience, out now on Eleven Seven Music, Drowning Pool will embark on their US tour titled the Resilience Tour. Today the band announces the second leg of tour dates with co-headliners Pop Evil which begin July 21st in St. Louis, MO. The first leg of the tour kicks off this week in St. Petersburg, FL on May 24th with guests Eye Empire. Armed with new singer Jasen Moreno, Drowning Pool is at their most focused, fiery, and fierce. With two singles off the album already charting at active rock radio, the band continues to persevere through it all, fists in the air. Jonathan Whitton (Bistro & MAC Award Winner, HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH) continues his critically lauded concert residency with guitarist Aaron Jones at Don't Tell Mama. Black Sheep CARNIVAL will play once a month through 2013 with initial dates scheduled for Friday, May 3 & June 7 @ 7:30PM and Monday, July 8 & August 5 @ 7:30PM. Breaking News: Jefferson Mays-Led A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER to Open at Walter Kerr Theatre on Nov. 17

It was announced today that, following critically acclaimed, smash-hit runs at Hartford Stage and San Diego's Old Globe Theatre, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder will open on Broadway in the fall of 2013. Starring Tony Award-winner Jefferson Mays in a highly acclaimed, tour de force, multi-character performance, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder features a book by Robert L. Freedman, music by Steven Lutvak, and lyrics by Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak. Darko Tresnjak directs and Peggy Hickey choreographs. The production will begin performances on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre. The opening night is set for Sunday, November 17. (more...)
