Chanhassen Dinner Theatres Welcome THE BEATLES – A TRIBUTE CONCERT, 12/31

On New Year's Eve, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres (CDT) will present a debut staging of THE BEATLES - A TRIBUTE CONCERT. This anthology of The Beatles' most popular hits dating from 1963 to 1970 will be performed by Jonny James and the Hall of Fames, a local band featuring the talents of such performers as Jonny James, Mike Menard, Andrew Thornbrough, Matt Riehle, and guesting in will be, Mike McDonough of the 'Rubber Soul' Beatles Tribute band. This concert performance will be celebrated on Chanhassen's Fireside stage for one performance only on Monday evening, December 31. (more...)

Bonhams Announces Beatles Auctions

A collection of some of the most important pieces of George Harrison and Beatles memorabilia ever to be offered at auction will be included in Bonhams forthcoming Entertainment Memorabilia sale on 12th December 2012. The collection, which has never been available to the general public, was gifted by George Harrison to his brother Harry and other members of the family. (more...)

LET IT BE Extends To January 2014 At Savoy Theatre

LET IT BE, the spectacular West End show celebrating the music of The Beatles has announced an extension to its current run at the Savoy Theatre in London following an announcement last week that a production will also open on Broadway in July this year. The show is now booking until 18 January 2014. The show has established itself as one of the West End's most popular shows since it premiered in September 2012. (more...)

West End's LET IT BE Recoups £1.6 Million Costs in 18 Weeks

The producers of LET IT BE today confirmed that the production has recouped at the box office the £1.6million the show cost to stage. The recoupment comes as the show finishes its 18 week run at the Prince of Wales Theatre and prepares to transfer to the Savoy Theatre from Friday 1 February 2013. (more...)
