Kevin Kline, Glenn Close, Eric Idle and Martin Short Headline The Public's THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE Benefit!

The Public Theater announced today that Kevin Kline will reprise his Tony Award-winning role of The Pirate King with Glenn Close as Ruth, Eric Idle as the Sergeant, and Martin Short as Major-General Stanley in the one-night-only concert performance of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE for The Public's annual gala. Co-chaired by Sir Howard Stringer, Arielle Tepper Madover, and Renee Beaumont, this unforgettable summer evening will also honor the late Nora Ephron who was a long-time board member and consummate lover of The Public's Shakespeare in the Park. Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, will present a new production of Bertolt Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle featuring Christopher Lloyd (Azdak), directed by Brian Kulick (who directed Brecht's Galileo last season), and featuring new music by Tony Award-winning singer/songwriter Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening). Mercury Theater Chicago Offers Free Kids Tickets at BARNUM

Kids aged 7 to 14 will receive a free ticket with the purchase of each adult ticket for weekday performances of the circus musical Barnum at Mercury Theater Chicago, 3745 N. Southport, running through June 16, 2013. To redeem, visit the box office or call 773-325-1700. Throughout the toe-tapping musical, the glitz and grandeur of the circus is brought to life on Mercury Theater Chicago's intimate stage. 14 actors entertain the audience with 24 rapid-fire costume changes and perform over 14 breathtaking head-over-heels acrobatic tricks featuring 18 juggling balls, 12 juggling scarves, 9 juggling balls, 2 Spanish webs and 1 circus lyra. 6 musicians create the rousing sound of the Big Top with 12 instruments, and 2 stilt walkers tower over the audience. 100 bricks are used to construct the historic American Museum. 3 sassy wooden poodles parade across the stage, along with 1 magnificent tiger and 1 larger-than-life elephant puppet. PDN Announces 2013 Photo Annual Award Winners

PDN is proud to announce the award winners for this year's Photo Annual competition, which recognizes the best photography from 2012. Now in its 13th year, the PDN Photography Annual issue features an extensive portfolio of photography in ten different categories, ranging from editorial assignments, photojournalism, portraiture and advertising to photo books, student work and fine art. Additionally, six awards are presented to photographers who are selected to be in the Photo Annual, including the Arnold Newman Prize for New Directions in Photographic Portraiture and the Marty Forscher Fellowship, which recognize photographers following in the footsteps of two photo industry legends. The PDN Photo Annual has become an annual celebration of innovative photography and talented photographers, with collaborative support from industry leaders including Sony, Parsons The New School for Design, Adobe, Epson, Maine Media Workshops and ASMP. Lillias White to Bring A WOMAN ON LOVE to Catalina Jazz Club, 6/3 & 10

Chris Isaacson Presents and Upright Cabaret present the West Coast club return of Broadway diva and Tony Award-winner Lillias White in her new show, A Woman On Love, at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood. There will be two performances only, on Mondays, June 3 and 10 at 8:30pm, with cocktail and dinner service beginning at 6:30pm.
