Spring and The Woodlands Personal Training Centers Hold Clothing Drive

Inspired by her client's total weight loss of 442 pounds, Spring and The Woodlands personal trainer, Shanna Layne came up with the charity idea “Our Loss Their Gain” and to have her boot camp business host a clothing drive to support a local charity. Clients from the two boot camps donated 35 Bags worth of clothing to Something Special, the local Montgomery County Women's Resale Shop. Thus, the “Our Loss Their Gain” campaign was a huge success. Survey: American Flyers Willing to Pay More for Personal Space

As summer travel season approaches, Americans planning vacations particularly those planning on flying have a lot of decisions ahead. With the increasing 'a la carte'-ization of air travel, flyers are faced with an ever increasing number of choices as to what levels of comfort and convenience they want and are willing to pay for. Findings from a new Harris Poll show that among Americans who travel by commercial airline once or more per year, many are looking for personal space to stretch out in-flight, with 58% willing to pay for extra legroom on a longer flight (3+ hours) and over half (53%) willing to shell out to avoid the dreaded middle seat on such a flight. Tommy Hilfiger Launches Surf Shack Summer Program with Art Production Fund

The Tommy Hilfiger Group, which is wholly owned by PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH], celebrated the launch of its limited edition Surf Shack capsule collection and collaboration with Art Production Fund (APF) - an ongoing partner of the Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation - at No. 8 in New York City. The event also announced the cross-continent Surf Shack bus tour starting in San Diego in June. The customized Surf Shack bus will travel to cities across North America, opening up as a mobile pop-up shop to sell the capsule collection, the artist-designed surf boards and other specialty product. D'Marie Launches Crowd-Sourcing Project to Fund Mobile App

D'Marie is a website that allows you to search and shop the exact garments worn by celebrities in movies, television shows, music videos, advertisements, red carpet events, street-style images and more. Much like Shazam, but for fashion, this site seamlessly aggregates images from media on a single platform. After recently redesigning the website in April with a new consumer interface, the company is now looking to expand onto mobile platforms and use the crowd-sourcing website IndieGogo to raise money to build the mobile application.
