Nick Cosgrove, Nicolas Dromard Join JERSEY BOYS National Tour

The National Tour of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, welcomes Nick Cosgrove (Frankie Valli) and Nicolas Dromard (Tommy DeVito) beginning June 4 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They will join a company that includes Brandon Andrus (Nick Massi) and Jason Kappus (Bob Gaudio) as The Four Seasons, with Barry Anderson and Thomas Fiscella. The Salt Lake City premiere engagement ofJERSEY BOYS will play June 4-15 at the Capitol Theater. Following Salt Lake City, the company will move to Little Rock, Arkansas for a premiere engagement at the Robinson Center Music Hall June 19 -23. = (more...)

Point Park's Conservatory Theatre Co. Announces 2013-14 Season: OKLAHOMA!, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON & More!

Seussical: The Musical, one of Broadway's most joyous musicals, written by the esteemed, Tony Award winning team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, will be presented at the Newtown High School this summer. Authors, Ahrens and Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on This Island, My Favorite Year, A Man of No Importance and the upcoming Rockymusical) have expressed their joy that this musical has been selected as the inaugural production of the 1214 Foundation. The Broadway Dreams Foundation will present Circle of Dreams, a unique Broadway concert open to the public, at UCLA's Freud Playhouse on Saturday, June 22 at 7:30pm. Performances of this hit rock and roll musical will run from June 19 - July 6 with evening performances at 7:30. Matinees are available on June 21, 23, 26, 28, 30 and July 2 at 2:00 PM. Tickets may be purchase by calling 800-427-6160 or by visiting the CRT Box Office's new location at 24 Port Watson Street in downtown Cortland. The 5th Avenue Theatre Honors Washington's High School Musical Theater Programs

High school students from across Washington state packed The 5th Avenue Theatre tonight for The 11th Annual 5th Avenue Awards Honoring High School Musical Theater, a high school version of the Tony Awards proudly presented by Wells Fargo. The house was packed with 2,200 teenagers, dressed in costume representing their schools' musical theater productions, who cheered for their peers as they performed musical excerpts and accepted awards honoring top student achievements in musical theater. The acclaimed event, directed this year by Kat Rambsurg, handed out awards in 21 categories ranging from Outstanding Overall Musical Production to Outstanding Lobby Display. (more...)

Casting is today announced for the European premiere of a new chamber version of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, Titanic.
