Jose Llana will now be playing the role of Thomas Andrews in Encores! Titanic, replacing his Here Lies Love costar Conrad Ricamora. Ricamora will reprise his role in the Broadway transfer of Oh, Mary!, which is set to begin performances on June 26 at the Lyceum Theatre.

De Niro Con​, a celebration of 80 years of Robert De Niro, has unveiled its programming lineup. Coinciding with the 2024 Tribeca Festival, this three-day tribute takes place at Spring Studios in New York City from June 14-16. Riz Ahmed has been cast in his latest film. According to reports, the Sound of Metal actor will be appearing in the next feature from Wes Anderson. Currently in production in Berlin, this will mark the first time Ahmed will be part of an Anderson project. His previous films include Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Venom, and the 2023 animated Nimona.

Leeds Playhouse and Opera North have announced a ‘loverly’ cast for their co-production of Lerner and Loewe’s classic musical My Fair Lady, with leading soprano Katie Bird and star of stage and screen John Hopkins in the leading roles of Eliza Doolittle and Henry Higgins. The revival of the award-winning musical plays in Leeds Playhouse’s Quarry Theatre from 31 May – 29 June.
