White Plains Performing Arts Center (Jack W. Batman, Executive Producer) is pleased to announce the final addition to the cast: Broadway veteran Stephen R. Buntrock will appear as Count Carl-Magnus in the upcoming production of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical A Little Night Music, by Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler.

Cabrillo Music Theatre continues its 2008-2009 season with the grandest and most spectacular musical of all, 42ND STREET. Directed and Choreographed by original Broadway cast member and Dance Captain, Jon Engstrom, 42ND STREET features a cast of 40, a full professional orchestra, and some of the greatest songs and dances ever to hit the great white way.

The event will take place on February 4, 2009. Stephen Sondheim, musical theatre icon, discusses his 50-year career as a composer and lyricist for stage and screen. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize, an Academy Award and multiple Tony, Drama Desk and Grammy Awards, he wrote the music and/or lyrics for such hits as Assassins, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, Company, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and West Side Sondheim will be joined vocalist Kate Baldwin, Sean Patrick Flahaven, Associate Editor of The Sondheim Review, who will moderate this very special evening.

Bryant Park Corporation announces the inaugural season of a series of early fall classical music concerts featuring musicians from the New York Philharmonic, New York City Opera, Orchestra of St. Luke's, the Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, and The New York Pops. Michael Ball has extended his run playing the role of 'Edna Turnblad' in the smash hit award-winning musical 'HAIRSPRAY' by another six months. He will now be starring in the role until Saturday 25 April 2009, marking the longest continuing contract that Michael, one of the UK's leading stage stars, has ever performed.
