Capping off its 50 Years of Memories celebration, the Alhambra is kicking off its next 50 years with a nine-show slate, five of which are new to Alhambra audiences.

The Bucks County Playhouse presents THE NEW WORLD, with music by Gary Adler, lyrics by Phoebe Kreutz, and book by Regina Decicco & L.F. Turner, directed by Stafford Arima, with choreography by Lorin Latarro. Performances begin November 7 and run through December 2, 2017.

The Old Globe today announced the additional productions in its 2018 Summer Season, including the classic Neil Simon comedy Barefoot in the Park directed by Jessica Stone (Ken Ludwig's Robin Hood!, Arms and the Man, and Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at the Globe), which will run July 28 - August 26, 2018. The Summer Shakespeare Festival lineup will include The Tempest, running June 17 - July 22, 2018, and Much Ado About Nothing, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall (the Globe's Love's Labor's Lost), running August 12 - September 16.

IN & OF ITSELF, the smash-hit show created and performed by three-time Academy of Magical Arts Award winner Derek DelGaudio (Nothing to Hide) and directed by four-time Emmy Award winner Frank Oz(Little Shop of Horrors, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Star Wars), has announced a third extension to the show's New York Premiere engagement at the Daryl Roth Theatre in Union Square. IN & OF ITSELF, which opened to resounding critical acclaim on April 12, 2017, will now play an additional eighteen weeks, through May 6, 2018.

The award-winning producer of Sweet Charity and Little Shop of Horrors, Luckiest Productions, is combining forces with One Eyed Man Productions (Calamity Jane), in association with Hayes Theatre Co, to present the celebrated musical Gypsy. Hillbarn Theatre, the Peninsula's premier theatre company, kicks off its 2017-18 season with the Peninsula premiere of the epic new musical, The Hunchback of Notre Dame (August 24-September 10, 2017). Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame begins as the bells of Notre Dame resound through the famed cathedral in 15th-century Paris. Quasimodo, the deformed bell-ringer who longs to be "Out There," observes all of Paris reveling in the Feast of Fools. Held captive by his devious caretaker, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, he escapes for the day and joins the boisterous crowd, only to be treated cruelly by all but the beautiful gypsy, Esmeralda.
