Screen Actors Guild Foundation and Broadway World have partnered for an inaugural filmed Conversations Q&A series to recognize and celebrate the vibrant theatre community in New York City and the union actors who aspire to have a career on the stage and screen. Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, presented its one-night-only, all-star concert of the acclaimed 1983 Broadway musical Baby at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, on Monday, June 18. ELF The Broadway Musical cast performed music from the hit show and cast recording for the 'Live at Barnes & Noble' series at the flagship store in New York City today, December 5th. The event featured special performances and a CD signing from cast members Sebastian Arcelus, Amy Spanger, Beth Leavel, Matthew Gumley and Matthew Schechter, along with additional members of the original Broadway cast. The event also featured special guests Tony nominated Matthew Sklar (Music) and Chad Beguelin (Lyrics). BroadwayWorld was on hand for the event and brings you exclusive performance coverage below!

Second Stage Theatre will present the new musical THE BLUE FLOWER written by Jim Bauer and Ruth Bauer, with choreography by Chase Brock and direction by Will Pomerantz, this fall. Previews will begin on Wednesday, October 12 and officially open on Wednesday, November 9 at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre. This week, Arena Stage opened the highly anticipated A TIME TO KILL, starring Broadway's Sebastian Arcelus (ELF, JERSEY BOYS). The play is a Rupert Holmes' adaptation of a novel by John Grisham. Where's Charley?, based on BranDon Thomas' Charley's Aunt, has a book by George Abbott and music and lyrics by Frank Loesser. The show, running March 17 - 20, will be directed by John Doyle and choreographed by Alex Sanchez with music direction by Rob Berman.
