Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, has announced initial casting for its one-night-only, all-star concert of the acclaimed 1983 Broadway musical Baby, which will take place Monday, June 18 at 7pm at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, 121 Christopher Street. Lincoln Center’s acclaimed series American Songbook returns to the elegant Allen Room in January for its fourteenth season celebrating the diversity of American popular song. Closing out Week One of the series was composer William Finn (Falsettos, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), along with guest vocalists, performing a song cycle inspired by the poetry of William Blake. ELF The Broadway Musical cast performed music from the hit show and cast recording for the "Live at Barnes & Noble" series at the flagship store in New York City today, December 5th.
