On Friday, October 17, Pivot will debut two new half hour series during the 10 p.m. hour, Freestyle Love Supreme, a new comedic improv series inspired by the acclaimed stage show from Tony and Grammy award-winners, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Thomas Kail. And Welcome to Fairfax, a series that explores the vibrant and arts district of Los Angeles and the entrepreneurs who work and live on these blocks. Malcolm Gets will join Jennifer Bowles and Rob McClure in The New York City Center Encores! production of Irma La Douce, running for seven performances, May 7 - 11, 2014, will star Rob McClure and Jennifer Bowles. Irma La Douce will be directed by John Doyle and choreographed by Chase Brock, with music direction by Rob Berman. Jack Viertel is Encores! Artistic Director. Tonight, March 8, an original special Freestyle Love Supreme airs on Pivot at 10pm ET. The high-energy, completely improvised hip hop show, from the two creators of the award-winning Broadway hit 'In the Heights,' was filmed Thursday night in NYC. Tony nominated actress Jessie Mueller, currently starring in the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Nice Work If You Can Get It, appeared on NBC's 'Today' this morning, May 9th in the 10:00 a.m. hour as part of Kathie Lee and Hoda's 'Everyone Has a Story' segment. Mueller sang 'For You', co-written by Lee for 7-year-old AJ Kelm, who is battling a rare form of epilepsy, and his mother. Click below to watch!
