On Thursday, June 13, Inside Broadway partnered with Nice Work if You Can Get It at Broadway's Imperial Theatre, where thousands of NYC public school students visited for two exclusive 'Creating the Magic' events. Sutton Foster, Joshua Henry & Keala Settle to Lead VIOLET at City Center, 7/17

Sutton Foster, Joshua Henry, Van Hughes, Keala Settle, Christopher Sieber, Emerson Steele and Chris Sullivan have been cast in Jeanine Tesori and Brian Crawley's Violet, the second Encores! Off-Center presentation of the 2013 season, on July 17. Tickets for Violet, directed by Leigh Silverman, with music direction by Michael Rafter, sold out shortly after going on sale. Tickets for the rest of the Encores! Off-Center season are still available; the majority of tickets are $25. (more...)

NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, the Tony Award-winning musical comedy starring two-time Tony Award-winner Matthew Broderick and Tony Award nominee Jessie Mueller, is now in its final two weeks of performances on Broadway. The final performance will be Saturday, June 15. NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT features music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro, and is directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall. Tony nominated actress Jessie Mueller, currently starring in the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Nice Work If You Can Get It, appeared on NBC's 'Today' this morning, May 9th in the 10:00 a.m. hour as part of Kathie Lee and Hoda's 'Everyone Has a Story' segment. The producers of the Tony Award-winning musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT have announced that the Broadway production will play its final performance on Saturday, June 15, 2013after 27 previews and 478 regular performances at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). The production began performances on March 29, 2012 and opened on Apr 24, 2012. A national tour will be launched in the 2014-2015 season. (more...)

The producers of the Tony-winning hit musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT have announced that Tony Award nominee Brad Oscar will perform the role of ‘Cookie McGee' beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, January 8th during Michael McGrath's two month leave of absence. This reunites Mr. Oscar with Matthew Broderick for the first time since they starred together in the original cast of The Producers. (more...)

Ms. Danner assumes the role of Millicent Winter, the mother of Matthew Broderick's character Jimmy Winter.
