Neil Patrick Harris will star in the Broadway premiere of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's musical HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH in the Spring of 2014. The remaining creative team members, additional casting, and the theatre will be confirmed at a later date, but the production will be directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer. Yesterday, September 13, David Lindsay-Abaire premiered the film adaptation of his Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning play, The Rabbit Hole during the 35th Toronto International Film Festival at the Elgin Theatre. The film stars Nicole Kidman, Diane Wiest, Aaron Eckhart, Tammy Blanchard, and Sandra Oh. The film was adapted by Lindsay-Abaire and directed by John Cameron Mitchell.

John Cameron Mitchell's and Stephen Trask's smash hit, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, will storm the set of the Gazillion Bubble Show on Stage 2 of New World Stages at Worldwide Plaza.

Acclaimed film and stage actors Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard have joined the cast of Classic Stage Company's upcoming new production of Anton Chekhov's UNCLE VANYA, starring Tony Award winner Denis O'Hare as Vanya, and directed by Austin Pendleton, it was announced today by CSC Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Jessica R. Jenen. UNCLE VANYA will begin previews on Saturday, January 17 at Classic Stage Company at 136 East 13th Street. An official press opening date will be announced in the coming weeks. UNCLE VANYA will play a limited engagement through March 1, 2009.
