Tony Award-winning Broadway star Alice Ripley has joined the cast of Into The Woods: In Concert at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts. Ripley will play the role of The Witch.

Out of the Box Theatrics presents the Off-Broadway Premiere of THE PINK UNICORN by Elise Forier Edie. Directed by Amy Jones, this site-specific one-woman drama will star Tony Award-winner Alice Ripley (Next To Normal, Side Show, Sunset Boulevard). Previews begin May 9 at the Episcopal Actors' Guild with opening slated for May 15.

Alice Ripley is sharing her wisdom with the world in a new TED Talk called 'Magic Take Time.'

Celebrated actress Erin Davie, who made her Broadway debut (and won a Theatre World Award) for her breakthrough performance as Young 'Edie' Beale in Broadway's GREY GARDENS opposite Christine Ebersole, has been cast in the lead role of Bella Kurnitz in Neil Simon's Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning masterpiece LOST IN YONKERS (Ms. Davie will take on the role which won Mercedes Ruehl a Tony Award for Best Actress In 1991, a role she also recreated in the 1993 film version). 

Macy Medford and Arden Guice may only be college students, but their performances as Violet and Daisy Hilton, the heroines of Side Show - the iconic musical by Bill Russell, Henry Krieger and Bill Condon that debuted on Broadway some 20 years ago - in Belmont University Musical Theatre's production that runs for just one weekend, are nothing less than a professional triumph for each young woman. Thoroughly committed and startlingly focused, Medford and Guice perform an oftentimes tricky, always challenging, task in order that the two young women effectively become their characters, ensuring the musical packs an emotional wallop delivered straight to the collective heart of its audience, while showcasing the evolution of a musical theatre program at the Nashville university, which over the years has gained a national reputation as the training ground of the next generations of Broadway stars yet to be.

If you have never seen SIDE SHOW, you need to make sure that you get out to the PNC Arts Annex this weekend to see this show.  If you are a lover of musical theatre, this is one not to be missed.

Macy Medford's had a pretty remarkable time while studying at Belmont University. A graduate of Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas, she came to Nashville as part of the Class of 2019 of the school's renowned musical theatre program at Belmont, where she continues to grow as a performer, but perhaps more importantly as an individual with her sights firmly focused on the future.

Dundalk Community Theatre begins its 2019 season with Bill Russell's 1998 Tony Award Nominated Musical "Side Show", from November 9th - 18th. The show brings to life the world of Daisy and Violet Hilton, conjoined twins, who became famous stage performers in the 1930s. It's a fitting irony that Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group commences its season with 'Side Show,' a relatively untapped musical in contemporary theater canon. It's a gutsy show, flaunting with unabashed elan the grim underbelly of circus entertainment.

Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group's upcoming production of Henry Krieger and Bill Russell's 'Side Show' enters its fourth week of rehearsals at a studio in Makati City. The show will premiere on August 31, 2018, at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, also in Makati City.

Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group has announced the full cast for the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical, SIDE SHOW, which opens on August 31 at Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati.

Wency Cornejo, multi-awarded songwriter and frontman of the '90s rock band AfterImage, makes his professional musical theater debut in Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group's production of the Broadway musical SIDE SHOW, which premieres on August 31 at Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium (RCBC Plaza, Makati City).

International Women's Day – multi-award-winning documentarian Leslie Zemeckis and Cinema Libre Studio present a special screening of “Mabel, Mabel, Tiger Trainer,” the death-defying tale of the world's first female tiger trainer. The award-winning feature length documentary reveals the empowering story of Mabel Stark, an outcast who was rejected by her family, escaped poverty and abuse in rural Kentucky, and ultimately found her true passion in the eyes of a tiger.

As the starring act of a 1930's Side Show, helmed by an abusive ringmaster, conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton are eager to accept an offer of fame, fortune, and potential romance proffered by Terry, a talent scout, and Buddy, a budding entertainer. As stars of the Orpheum Circuit, it seems that Daisy and Violet have everything they ever wanted. The one thing they lack, however, is the fulfillment of their hearts' desires.

Daisy and Violet Hilton were conjoined twins born in 1908 in Brighton, England. They were the highest paid Vaudeville act of the 20s and 30's. Colleen Burke was born with twin internal sex organs, and had a 'twin' sister who was born with cerebral palsy. Cleave is a night of intimate storytelling and puppetry that intertwines the narratives of these two sets of most unusual twins.
