Since 2019, the fast-rising director Tinuke Craig has fielded various iterations of her first-ever musical, The Color Purple, which was acclaimed in performance at Leicester's Curve Theatre and the Birmingham Hippodrome. That same show is returning this month for a streamed concert version starring T'Shan Williams as Celie.

Hundreds of deaf young people in London will take to the stage, boost their confidence and learn new skills, thanks to a £200,000 grant. Deafinitely Theatre - the UK's first deaf launched and led professional theatre company - has been awarded the funding from City Bridge Trust, the City of London Corporation's charity funder.

Amazon Studios today announced the first group of series regulars set to star in the new Amazon Original series based on stories from the iconic 'The Lord of the Rings' novels by J.R.R. Tolkien. Newly revealed cast members including Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Nazanin Boniadi, Tom Budge, Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Ema Horvath, Markella Kavenagh, Joseph Mawle, Tyroe Muhafidin, Sophia Nomvete, Megan Richards, Dylan Smith, Charlie Vickers, and Daniel Weyman. Production will begin in February.
