Flatland Cavalry is ready to make their mark on the country music landscape, exploring some of life’s most universal themes with their own unique sense of storytelling and musicianship. 

Ahead of the release, the band has shared four additional album tracks: “Life Without You” featuring Kaitlin Butts, “No Ace In The Hole,” “Gettin’ By” and “Some Things Never Change.”

Shannon McNally, the voice and brains behind THE WAYLON SESSIONS, a record of classic Waylon Jennings songs, has released another track from the forthcoming album, 'Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys.' McNally debuted the track via Austin American Statesman, of which Peter Blackstock wrote about her delivery and the song's history: 

“When we started touring in our 15 passenger van, we used to park at the venue and bide our time until it was time to load in,” stated The Lumineers’ Jeremiah Fraites.

Now, Jeremy Parsons has been selected, from approximately 700 entries, as a 2021 New Folk Finalist. As a result, Jeremy will perform in one of two Kerrville's Grassy Hill New Folk Competition Finalist Concerts on Saturday May 22nd at 7p.m. Central & Sunday May 23rd at 7p.m. Central.

“‘Happy Home’ is a song myself and the whole band hold very dear to our hearts,” says Mason. “It’s become kind of a fan favorite from the live show, regardless of it being unreleased. I think it reveals both my soul and country influence sonically. I’m so excited to get this song out to the world.”

Austin music nonprofit Swan Songs announces today more details on their 10th Annual Swan Songs Serenade gala, as well as event sponsors. Known for their rowdy, energetic performances, Town Mountain has spent most of 2019 on the road, playing major festivals and venues across the country, including the legendary Grand Ole Opry. On September 30, the band made their debut at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, to a sold-out crowd alongside prolific singer-songwriter Robert Earl Keen and Grammy-nominee Tyler Childers. Today, JamBase premiered the band's live performance of “Down Low” featuring Childers, who co-wrote the duet with banjo player and vocalist Jesse Langlais for Town Mountain's most recent album, New Freedom Blues. “It's always a pleasure to do shows with Tyler and The Food Stamps,” Langlais explains. “We love the guys and we love the music, brothers in arms!
