About Face Theatre and Theater Wit will present the Midwest premiere of the romantic comedy SIGNIFICANT OTHER by Joshua Harmon, playwright of the hit comedy Bad Jews.

Following a successful summer run of Aaron Posner's play Life Sucks, Company of Fools' 22nd season of theatre continues this fall with a production of BRIGHT HALF LIFE by playwright Tanya Barfield. Company of Fools' Interim Artistic Director, Ilana Becker, will direct the play, which runs Sept. 27-Oct. 14, 2017, at the Liberty Theatre in Hailey.

It was a night full of Broadway and TV reunions for beloved stage and screen star Judith Light at the 2017 Monte Cristo Award ceremony last night, presented by the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center and held for the first time at 583 Park Avenue. Light's LOMBARDI co-star Dan Lauria and 'Ugly Betty' co-star Michael Urie joined in on the celebrations, and Director Thomas Kail presented Light with her honor. The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today that Paulette Haupt, founding Artistic Director of its National Music Theater Conference, will step down following the 2017 season, after 40 years leading the program. The program began in 1978 after George C. White, founder of the O'Neill, invited Ms. Haupt to launch a new development program for music theater, in a similar mold to the O'Neill's groundbreaking National Playwrights Conference, launched in 1964.
