Ready for date night? Or Girls Night Out? Overture Center is the perfect destination this month when Broadway's PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL comes to Overture Hall, Tuesday, Oct. 18 through Sunday, Oct. 23.

PNC Broadway in Kansas City hass announced that single tickets will go on sale Friday, October 7 at 10:00 a.m. for the Music Hall engagement of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL.

The first national tour of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will welcome newcomer Jessie Davidson, who will step into the leading role of Vivian Ward beginning the week of October 10 in Memphis, TN.

The Equity tour, which launched in October 2021 at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI, will continue through May 7, 2023 with the final scheduled engagement in Sacramento, CA.

The world premiere production of HIGH NOON, based on the iconic and beloved Academy Award-winning film of the same title will arrive on Broadway in 2023.

PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL has announced the extension of the tour through May 7, 2023, with the final scheduled engagement taking place in Sacramento, CA.  Broadway in Hollywood has announced that PRETTY WOMAN: The Musical, set in 1980s Hollywood, will celebrate its Los Angeles Premiere in Hollywood at the Dolby Theatre from June 15 to July 3, 2022.

I had the opportunity to see PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, during its visit to The Bushnell in Hartford. Based on one of Hollywood’s most beloved 1990’s movies that launched America’s sweetheart, Julia Roberts, into stardom. Fans of the movie will be happy to see that the story hasn’t dramatically changed and includes all the fun, quotable lines (like, “Big Mistake. Huge!”) and unforgettable moments, like the spicy piano scene.

The Broad Stage continues their live series Cue & A with Robert Kraft on June 1, 2022.  This evening features conversation, clips, commentary, live demonstrations and an audience Q & A with two-time Emmy-nominated composer and pianist Michael Abels, composer of scores for Jordan Peele's “Get Out” and “Us.”

Robert Ramirez has been named the new head of the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama, effective August 1. Ramirez joins CMU from the Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of Texas at Austin (UT), where he served as professor and chair.
