Celebrating its 76th Season as “The Miracle of the Forest,” Forestburgh Playhouse, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Franklin Trapp, announces its 2022 Season of musicals and plays, along with a summer series of exciting, safe outdoor concerts in compliance with local social distancing measures.

Steep Theatre will make its much-anticipated return to stage this summer with two productions that continue the company’s tradition of introducing Chicago audiences to bold new plays from today’s most exciting playwrights.

After winning two Olivier Awards - for Best Revival, and Best Actress in a Play for Sheila Atim, the Donmar Warehouse today announces that the on demand streaming of the critically acclaimed revival of Nick Payne's Constellations will be available for an additional four weeks until 25 May.

Nick Payne’s award-winning play, Constellations is currently in its final weekend of performance. The critically acclaimed play stars Francesca Ravera and Michael Chinworth. Kim T. Sharp directs.

Astoria Performing Arts Center, in association with Dutch Kills Warehouse and Lawryn LaCroix, will present the U.S. premiere of Buggy Baby by Josh Azouz, which marks the playwright’s American debut.

The winners have been unveiled for this year’s Olivier Awards with Mastercard, British theatre’s biggest night, which took place this evening (Sunday 10 April) at the Royal Albert Hall in London, hosted by Jason Manford.

The Phoenix Theatre Company's seasonwill kick off in August and includes nine shows ranging from classic musicals like A Chorus Line and family favorites like Cinderella to the world-premiere of Tiananmen.

This month brings cabaret, music, drama as well as a brand new play from the award-winning team behind The Unlikely Secret Agent, which premiered at The Drama Factory last year and was nominated for eight Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards.

ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATRE along with The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation have announced the lineup for the 2022 First Light Festival, part of the EST/Sloan Project to develop plays exploring science and technology.

Constellations: Fate, Love, and the Power of Theatre. The Lambs hosts a discussion of the play 'Constellations' by Nick Payne, the Tony nominated Broadway romantic comedy. A revival of the show will run from April 6 through April 24 at The Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street, New York NY 10012).

STARC Productions returns to the Bakehouse Theatre this March with award-winning playwright Nick Payne's captivating, playful and touching two-hander, CONSTELLATIONS. Premiering at London's Royal Court Theatre in 2012, CONSTELLATIONS is a much celebrated romantic dramedy about life, love and death that is as clever as it is sweet-hearted. The play follows Roland, a beekeeper, and Marianne, a physicist, through their romantic relationship as they navigate the very human challenges that face us all, not least of which include the nature of time and ultimately, our mortality.

The multiverse is everywhere now, replete with comic-book heroes and supervillain finger snaps, but in 2014, when British playwright Nick Payne wrote 'Constellations,' it was still pretty edgy. The Brown/Trinity MFA production captures the exciting energy of his vision with two fine performances and highly creative staging.

The Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Programs in Acting and Directing present Four in Rep, four plays featuring Brown/Trinity Rep MFA students. From March 3 – 10, Constellations by Nick Payne, directed by Carol Ann Tan, and Everybody by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, directed by JaMario Stills, will play in rep.

After a brief COVID-related delay (an all-too-common frustration in the world of theatre these days), Geva Theatre's Fielding Stage is currently presenting 'Constellations', a two-person play about split-second decisions and missed opportunities. This production is particularly meaningful not only because it is Mark Cuddy's final appearance as a director--he retires this summer after a remarkable 27 seasons as Geva's Artistic Director--but because it features his son, Gus Cuddy, and his son's partner Mari Vial-Golden.
