In 2012 Paul Roseby, Artistic Director and CEO of National Youth Theatre (NYT), launched a new REP company that would provide intensive real-world experience each year to a group of young performers and creatives.

Jekyll and Hyde, currently running to great critical acclaim at Derby Theatre, will arrive at Queen's Theatre Hornchurch 26 October – 12 November.

The full company has been announced for Orlando – joining Emma Corrin, in the title role, are Deborah Findlay (Mrs Grimsditch), Jessica Alade (Virginia, Drunken Tory), Debra Baker (Virginia, Favilla, The Captain), Akuc Bol (Virginia, Euphrosyne, Prue), Lucy Briers (Virginia, Queen Elizabeth, Officer), Richard Cant (Virginia, Harriet, Kitty), Melissa Lowe (Virginia, Drunken Tory), Jodie McNee (Virginia, Marmaduke), Oliver Wickham (Virginia, Clorinda), and Millicent Wong (Virginia, Sasha, Nell).

The Michael Grandage Company announced that their production of Orlando opens at the Garrick Theatre on 5 December 2022, with previews from 25 November, and runs until 25 February 2023. 

The ensemble cast of My Policeman — Harry Styles, Emma Corrin, Gina McKee, Linus Roache, David Dawson, and Rupert Everett — will be honoured with the TIFF Tribute Award for Performance. As previously scheduled, My Policeman by director Michael Grandage will have its World Premiere at this year’s Festival.

Stage and screen star John Lithgow has signed on for a short appearance on the upcoming reboot of the hit Showtime series Dexter.

Pan Asian Repertory Theatre will present a special virtual event: NuWorks 2021, the annual experimental series of self-created work from innovative artists exploring an eclectic range of genres and techniques using poetry, text, dance and music.

John Lithgow is featured in a special, new audio recording released by 92Y: a reading of William Maxwell’s novel, So Long, See You Tomorrow. The National Youth Theatre (NYT) has released production images for its West End production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by Matt Harrison working in association with Kneehigh and abridged by Kate Kennedy, which runs at the Criterion Theatre until 17 January 2020, with its official press matinee taking place on 10 December, marking the final production in the 2019 NYT REP Season.

This past weekend, an unknown source launched a ransomware attack on The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's (STNJ) database and ticketing system. The attack was widespread, hitting several companies of various types and sizes in the immediate area and beyond, including the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts, also in Madison. STNJ has confirmed that no patron data has been compromised in any way, and the run of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol will continue as planned, through December 29th.
