Aleksandar Vass and Vass Theatre Group are excited to announce the Broadway and West End hit BAD JEWS will have its Sydney premiere at the Everest Theatre at the Seymour Centre in May. The all-Australian production of BAD JEWS which enjoyed a sellout season in Melbourne last year, will play from tonight 18 May - 4 June.

Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Song Salon will offer a special presentation with three rising Broadway talents -- Sydney James Harcourt (Hamilton), Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet) and Timothy Ware (Kinky Boots) -- who will present musical highlights from their respective shows. The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the Old Globe/University of San Diego Graduate Theatre Program presentation of William Shakespeare's AS YOU LIKE IT, running November 14 - November 22 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Opening night is Saturday, November 14 at 8:00 p.m.

Peter Filichia, noted theatre journalist, author and President of the Theatre World Awards, will host the 46th Anniversary Gala for Amas Musical Theatre, New York City's award-winning pioneer in diversity and multi-ethnic casting in the performing arts since 1968, on Monday, March 30th, 2015 at the Baruch Performing Arts Center (East 25th Street between Lexington & 3rd Avenues). Honorary Chair for the event is distinguished actor, director, and choreographer Andre De Shields.

Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab will present staged readings for the New York premiere of I Am, I Will, I Do, a new musical with book, music and lyrics by Dan Manjovi. Directed by Christopher Scott with Musical Direction by Steven Gross, the readings will be held tonight, February 9th at 6pm and tomorrow, February 10th at 3pm & 7pm at Shetler Studios - Penthouse (244 West 54th Street - between Broadway & 8th Avenue).
