Amas Musical Theatre Presents Joanna Rush's ASKING FOR IT at The Players Loft, 2/11-12

Amas Musical Theatre will present three performances of 'Asking For It', an autobiographical play written and performed by Broadway veteran Joanna Rush, directed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett. Three performances will take place tonight, February 11th at 4:00pm, and Tuesday, February 12th at 3:00pm and 6:00pm at The Players Loft, 115 MacDougal Street (Third Floor). (more...)

Today, BroadwayWorld is thrilled to host the world premiere of a spectacularly sensational showstopper from the forthcoming soundtrack recording for the show-within-the-show on NBC's hit musical dramedy series SMASH, which returns at 9 PM this Tuesday, February 5 - 'Cut, Print… Moving On,' which acts as the Act One Finale, no less. The BOMBSHELL soundtrack itself - featuring show stars Katharine McPhee, Megan Hilty, Debra Messing and Christian Borle, as well as guest stars Bernadette Peters, Will Chase and more - hits on February 12. (FRIENDS UNITED DEVELOPING GENUINE ENTERTAINMENT) Theatre Company will present their 12th Anniversary Season's production of "AS BEES IN HONEY DROWN," 'Douglas Carter Beane's Award-winning comedy about deception, fraud, embezzlement, sexual politics, elusive fame, amoral women, sitting-duck men and revenge, which will open on Friday, January 25 at The Factory Theatre (791 Tremont Street, Boston, MA - between Camden Street and Northampton Street) where it will play through Today, January 27. Opening night is Wednesday, June 27th. Winner of 2010's Best Musical Award at FringeNYC, TRIASSIC PARQ is written by Marshall Pailet, Bryce Norbitz and Steve Wargo, with direction by Marshall Pailet, choreography by Kyle Mullins and musical direction by Zak Sandler.
