BroadwayWorld has just learned that beginning Tuesday, September 15, West End alumna RACHEL TUCKER will join the Broadway company of WICKED in the role of Elphaba. After nearly three years and over 1,000 performances, Rachel holds the record for most consecutive performances as Elphaba in London's West End production. She made her Broadway debut last season as Meg Dawson in Sting's The Last Ship.

Last night, Tony Nominee Laura Osnes and music director Benjamin Rauhala hosted THE BROADWAY PRINCESS PARTY at 54 Below, featuring Ruthie Ann Miles, Caissie Levy, Adam Jacobs, Courtney Reed and over a dozen more princesses! Check out photos below!

The beauty of a long-running Broadway show is being able to see an iconic role portrayed by more than just one star. Today, BWW is continuing our new series SHOWTUNE SHUFFLE! In this edition, not two, but eight Elphabas and Fiyeros sing Wicked's 'As Long as You're Mine' from start to finish. Click below to watch Teal Wicks, Richard H. Broadway in Bryan Park kicked off its 2015 program yesterday - and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the first day. This week's line-up included performances from the casts of STOMP, FUERZA BRUTA, IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU, WICKED and the help of Penn and Teller. Below, watch as Kara Lindsay, Matt Shingledecker and Caroline Bowman belt out the classic tunes of WICKED, including: 'Popular,' 'As Long As You're Mine,' and 'The Wizard and I.'

Later this week, 106.7 LITE FM will kick off its highly-anticipated, 15th annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.' The 2015 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays beginning July 9 at 12:30 p.m. ET on the Bryant Park Stage. Thursday's line-up will include performances from the casts of STOMP, FUERZA BRUTA, WICKED (Caroline Bowman, Kara Lindsay, Matt Shingledecker), and It Shoulda Been You (Farah Alvin, Jillian Louis, Edward Hibbert, Anne L. Nathan, Adam Heller).

Beginning performances Sunday, July 5th, Wicked will welcome two-time Tony and Emmy Award nominee MICHELE LEE in the role of Madame Morrible. A veteran of the stage and screen, she is perhaps best known for her fourteen seasons as Karen Mackenzie on the landmark CBS television drama, 'Knots Landing.'
