Samuel French, the world's leading theatrical publishing and licensing company just honored some of the theatre community's most respected artists, activists and rising stars yesterday, when they bestowed the Samuel French Awards in a private reception. The Dramatists Guild Fund welcomes a slew of stars for their 2015 Gala tonight! As previously announced, actor, musician and Emmy-nominated composer, Darren Criss will host and perform at DGF's annual gala GREAT WRITERS THANK THEIR LUCKY STARS at Gotham Hall (1356 Broadway at 36th Street) this evening, October 26 (cocktail reception at 6:30pm, dinner and celebration at 7:30pm).

Beginning tonight, September 15, West End alumna RACHEL TUCKER joins the Broadway company of WICKED in the role of 'Elphaba'. After nearly three years and over 1,000 performances, Rachel holds the record for most consecutive performances as Elphaba in London's West End production. She made her Broadway debut last season as Meg Dawson in Sting's THE LAST SHIP.

Matt Shingledecker (Currently playing Fiyero in Wicked, West Side Story, Spring Awakening) and Brian Charles Johnson (OBC of Spring Awakening and American Idiot) will star in the upcoming reading of Kevin Ray Johnson's (The Love Note Off Broadway) 'The Unpredictable Times' on Sunday August 30th, 7:30 pm at Shetler Studios Penthouse 1.
