Yerba Buena Center For The Arts Presents Liz Lerman's WICKED BODIES

Yerba Buena Center for the Arts will present Wicked Bodies, an interactive dance-theater piece by visionary choreographer and YBCA Senior Fellow Liz Lerman. Performances take place Friday, October 28–Sunday, October 30 at The Blue Shield of California Theater in San Francisco.

The eighth week of the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival 2022 welcomes Hubbard Street Dance Chicago to the Ted Shawn Theatre, from Aug. 10-14. Week 8 of the Festival will also feature Dance Heginbotham on the outdoor Henry J. Leir Stage from August 10-14, and a performance by Liz Lerman with her new evening-length dance theater piece, Wicked Bodies, on the Jacob's Pillow grounds from August 10-13.

Leviathan Lab Announces Work-in-Progress Showing Of Ariel Estrada's FULL CONTACT In Residency At BRIC

Leviathan Lab, a creative studio for Asian American Pacific Islander theatre artists, will present two work-in-process showings of FULL CONTACT, a new solo performance work written and performed by Ariel Estrada (Producing Artistic Director, Leviathan Lab; BIPOC Leadership Circle, artEquity) and directed by Gaven Trinidad (Rising Leader of Color, Theatre Communications Group) with mentorship by Chay Yew.

Paul Taylor Dance Company Runs for Special Engagement at the Joyce Theater

 Paul Taylor Dance Company (PTDC) will come to the Joyce Theater June 14-19, 2022, offering audiences a unique series of programs that showcase early works choreographed by Paul Taylor including Tracer, Fibers and Aureole, along with a World Premiere by Michelle Manzanales and the New York Premiere of A Call for Softer Landings by Peter Chu, both of which were commissioned by PTDC. Tickets start at $10 and are available at joyce.org.

Jacob’s Pillow has announced Belgian and Moroccan choreographer, dancer, and director Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui as the recipient of the 2022 Jacob’s Pillow Dance Award. Cherkaoui will accept this award and present a new work at the season-opening Gala on June 18.
