As the 2nd annual “Heal The Music Day” wraps for 2018, more than 170 members of the music community – songwriters, musicians, performers, artist managers, publishers, business managers, record labels, trade organizations and more – pledged a percentage of their single-day revenues to support their fellow musicians and peers in the industry in times of medical crisis. With $300,000 raised in support of Music Health Alliance, every dollar donated equals $30 in life-saving healthcare resources. Music Health Alliance's free services range from access to doctors and hospitals, medicine, health insurance and finding financial assistance during times of illness.

Reviver Records is proud to announce the recent signing of multifaceted, multi-genre writer & performer David DeVaul. The former American Idol contestant has been in high demand as of late, writing songs for Josh Gracin, Aaron Goodvin, and collaborating with producer OHKI to create a country/hip-hop flavored EP titled Dixieland, available now. David has been cutting his teeth as a valued member of Reviver Publishing, experimenting with different genres like country, pop, soul, & hip-hop, and is excited to further his already blossoming career.

With just over a week until the 2nd annual “Heal The Music Day,” held Friday, October 19, 2018, the Country Music Association has teamed with Music Health Alliance to offer a matching contribution for donations raised within the music industry. CMA will match dollar for dollar donations in support of “Heal The Music Day,” up to $100,000. Every dollar donated equals $30 in life-saving healthcare resources to Heal The Music.

Widely known as the godfather of music photography, the late Jim Marshall maintained a 50-year career that resulted in more than 500 album covers, an abundance of magazine covers, and some of the most celebrated images in blues, jazz, country, and rock and roll, including those from Johnny Cash's notable Folsom and San Quentin prison concerts. To showcase these powerful snapshots of a legendary musician by a legendary photographer, the GRAMMY Museum® proudly presents The Prison Concerts: Folsom And San Quentin (Jim Marshall's Photographs Of Johnny Cash), a new exhibit showcasing Marshall's photos from Cash's historic prison concerts in 1968 and 1969 featured in the art book Johnny Cash At Folsom & San Quentin. The exhibit will open on Oct. 23, when Amelia Davis, Jim Marshall's longtime assistant and the sole beneficiary of his estate; John Carter Cash, Johnny Cash's son; and Scott Bomar, author of Johnny Cash At Folsom & San Quentin; will discuss the stories behind these photographs at the Clive Davis Theater as part of the Museum's An Evening With program moderated by GRAMMY Museum Artistic Director Scott Goldman. The exhibit will run through February 2019.

Industry veteran Jim Malito has been named to the newly created position of VP/Promotion for the Reviver Entertainment Group. Jim will be working with both the Reviver and 1608 promotion staffs while reporting to Reviver's SVP Bob Reeves. 

Legacy Recordings (a division of Sony Music Entertainment) will release Wouldn't It Be Great, the new studio album from American music icon Loretta Lynn, on Friday, September 28.

Berkshire Theatre Group presents Catch the Fever: An Evening with Fabrizio and the Fever, sending children to BTG PLAYS! Summer Camp through the Richie duPont Scholarship Fund, at The Colonial Theatre on Friday, May 18 at 7pm. Special guest performances by Berkshire County's Got Talent Winner, Madelyn Gardner (with Pinedrop) and Carl Wockner. Tickets are $15 and $25.
