The Charleston Gaillard Center announced its largest season ever for the 2023–2024 programming year with more than 40 shows spanning dance, music, theater, comedy, arts festivals, and family programming from leading local, national, and international artists and organizations.

Canadian country music recording artist Melissa Endean has released her latest single, 'Folsom Prison,' on which she worked in collaboration with John Carter Cash. This recording is a cover of the Johnny Cash classic that ranks among Rolling Stone Magazine's greatest country songs of all time, and it earned Cash his very first career Grammy.

Throughout her 60-year career, Lynn achieved the highest level of success with over 50 Top 10 Hits including “Fist City,” “You Ain’t Woman Enough,” “You’re Lookin’ At Country,” “Don’t Come Home A Drinking,” “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” and more. Martha Redbone presents her Roots Project in her Broad Stage debut on Saturday, April 9 at 7:30pm. A performance not to be missed, Billboard Magazine described Martha Redbone as “a true original; the kind of artist who sets trends, as opposed to following them.”

Johnny Cash: Forever Words (Expanded Edition) includes the original album released in 2018, along with 18 new tracks. The record was compiled by Cash’s son, John Carter Cash, who recently discovered lost lyrics, poems and letters that his father had written.

Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) will present The Nashville Beat with Fabrizio and the Fever at The Colonial Theatre on Friday, May 29 at 7pm. All proceeds go towards sending children to BTG PLAYS! summer camps through the Richie duPont Scholarship Fund. Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Ruston Kelly debuts a new cover of The Carter Family's “Weeping Willow” today.  Recorded at the Carter's own family home in Virginia, Kelly's rendition is released in honor of the song's 92nd anniversary (originally released August 2, 1927 under the title “Bury Me Under The Weeping Willow”).

The Country Music Association has revealed the initial artist lineup for this year's CMA Fest, which features hundreds of Country Music artists performing on multiple stages throughout downtown Nashville Thursday through Sunday, June 6-9. CMA Fest is a one-of-a-kind festival with artists donating their time to perform so a portion of ticket proceeds can directly benefit high-quality music programs across the country through the CMA Foundation.
