Theatre Aspen received five nominations for The Colorado Theatre Guild’s 16th Annual Henry Awards for its productions of Rock of Ages and Chicago during the 2021 Summer Season.

Theatre Aspen announced today the complete casts and creative teams for the company’s 39th Season, which includes the Tony Award-winning musicals Gypsy and Jersey Boys on the mainstage, as well as the summer Cabaret Series at Hotel Jerome and additional programming and special events for the summer.

The Aspen Music Festival and School (Alan Fletcher, President and CEO) and Theatre Aspen (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) announced today that this summer their organizations will again collaborate to present a very special one-night-only concert production of The Rodgers and Hammerstein classic musical The Sound of Music on Monday, August 3 at 7:30 pm in the Benedict Music Tent. Solo Flights is an annual week-long festival of one-person shows presented in the beginning stages of their development. Jed Bernstein, Producing Director of Theatre Aspen, announced today that Yasmina Reza's Tony Award-winning play God of Carnage, directed by Karen Azenberg (Artistic Director of Salt Lake City's largest non-profit, Pioneer Theatre Company) will round out the 2019 Summer Season. God of Carnage joins the previously announced Tony Award-winning musical Guys and Dolls, directed by Tony Award nominee Hunter Foster and choreographed by Lisa Shriver, Little Shop of Horrors, directed by Carbonell Award winner Mark Martino, and the Theatre Aspen Summer Conservatory's student production of The Wizard of Oz, all at the Hurst Theatre.

This winter and spring Bucks County Playhouse offers a full slate of entertainment representing a wide variety of musical, comedy and special event performances as part of the Visiting Artists Series at the Playhouse.
