It's Official: Douglas Carter Beane Joins SISTER ACT Team

Producers Whoopi Goldberg and Stage Entertainment have announced that Tony and Olivier award nominee Douglas Carter Beane will provide additional book material to the upcoming musical SISTER ACT, working alongside Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning book-writers Cheri and Bill Steinkellner. SISTER ACT Box Office to Open 2/14

The Broadway Theatre box office (1681 Broadway) will open on Monday, February 14 at 10:00am for the new musical SISTER ACT. All patrons who purchase tickets at the Broadway Theatre box office on February 14 will be eligible to win a pair of tickets to the opening night performance and party of SISTER ACT on April 20, 2011. The winner of the opening night ticket drawing will be notified on Tuesday, February 15.

Victoria Clark Leads Broadway's SISTER ACT; Cast Announced!

Producers Whoopi Goldberg and Stage Entertainment have announced that Tony Award-winner Victoria Clark will co-star as Mother Superior in the new Broadway musical, SISTER ACT, beginning preview performances on March 24, 2011 and opening on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). As previously announced, Olivier Award nominee Patina Miller will reprise her critically acclaimed performance as Deloris Van Cartier, which she originated in the West End production of SISTER ACT.
