On the occasion of the Group Theatre's 80th anniversary, the Martin E. BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Tyne Daly, Ben Vereen, Ann Roth, Daniel Sullivan, George White, Elliot Martin and Woodie King Jr., and Paul Sills will be inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame this year. The ceremony will take place on January 30, 2012, in the Gershwin Theatre. The event will be hosted by Estelle Parsons and hosted by Jerry Hodge Taylor.

According to the NY Times, Cherry Lane Theatre's Angelina Fiordellisi, will resign as Artistic Director sometime between March and June of 2011. Additionally, Fiordellisi plans to sell the building, which has been a Greenwich Village staple since 1924, due to ongoing financial struggles.
