The Flea Theater has announced a unique collaboration between The Museum of Jewish Heritage, The Public Theater, The Flea Theater, and individuals, Luna Kaufman, Emmanuel Ruranga, M.S. L.P.C., Daniel Neiden and Erika Feldman. In commemoration of the 19th anniversary of the start of the Rwandan genocide, the group will produce a one time only public reading performance of a new play by Jay O. Sanders. (more...)

Today, September 30, 2012, fourteen actors, actresses, critics, playwrights - and even an astronaut - will be inducted into the newest class of THE PLAYERS Hall of Fame, John Martello, Executive Director of THE PLAYERS, has announced. For the 5th time in its history, The PLAYERS will commemorate each of the new, 14 inductees with a fine-art portrait that will become part of THE PLAYERS' permanent collection. The unveiling is at a special fundraising dinner at the landmarked Booth mansion at 16 Gramercy Park South, (East 20th off Park Ave.) New York City. (more...)

On the occasion of the Group Theatre's 80th anniversary, the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center (Frank Hentschker, Executive Director) presents a day of readings, panels, rarely-heard recordings and screenings of unseen footage all dedicated to understanding "The Group Theatre and How it Changed American Culture."
