The 2010 Tony Award-winning Best Musical MEMPHIS announced casting today for the U.S. national tour of the critically acclaimed production. The national tour of MEMPHIS will star Bryan Fenkart (Huey) and Felicia Boswell (Felicia) with Quentin Earl Darrington (Delray), Rhett George (Gator), Julie Johnson (Mama), Will Mann (Bobby), and William Parry (Mr. Simmons).

On Monday, June 6, Broadway in Bryant Park presented by 106.7 Life FM hosted a kickoff event to announce the summer line up for 2011. The event featured live performances from the 2010 Tony Award Winning Musical Memphis including hits: 'Music of My Soul', 'Colored Woman', 'Memphis Lives in Me', 'Love Will Stand' and 'Steal You Rock and Roll' from Memphis cast members. The 2010 Tony winning Best Musical MEMPHIS has announced a partnership with The Great Atlantic Pacific & Tea Company (A&P) to raise money for New York-area Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Beginning July 4, 2011, customers at all A&P, Pathmark, Food Emporium, Waldbaum's, Food Basics, Super Fresh and Best Cellars stores will be asked to make a donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at the register.

World-renowned watchmaker Audemars Piguet partnered with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) and the Tony Awards today, to host more than 1,000 underserved New York City Public School Students at their very first Broadway show. Through 'Inspire Change,' an initiative launched by the producers of Memphis, students from 11 public schools throughout the 5 boroughs of Manhattan enjoyed this special performance of Memphis in addition to in-school workshops and a 'talk-back' with the cast and producers of the show and representatives from the Tony Awards.

Hosted by Sir Ian McKellen, last night, November 1, the Only Make Believe Gala featured a number of performances including the casts of Memphis, the Cast of Billy Elliot: The Musical, and others.
