Santa Monica Playhouse presents Actor's Repertory Theatre (ART) in the return engagement of the 'dazzling' (Daily Bruin) original Jewish musical, BACKSTREET, a passionate and whimsical portrait of life, love, and loyalty played out by a family of Backstreet Ladies in a house of Jewish 'working girls' in the New York ghetto, circa 1905. This gem from the Playhouse Jewish Heritage Program by the creators of the immensely popular Sholom Aleichem quartet of plays - Author! Author!, Because of You, The Clown Prince and The Great Fair - and part of the ongoing Santa Monica Playhouse (SMP) 50th Anniversary Celebration of Theatre, opens May 15, 2010.

Warner Home Video will release the animated version of YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN on DVD on January 26th, 2010. YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN is one of many prime-time animated TV specials based on characters from the Charles M. Schulz comic strip Peanuts and originally aired on the CBS network on November 6th, 1985.

James Dybas will join the cast of the hit Baby Boomer musical revue 'DON'T LEAVE IT ALL TO YOUR CHILDREN! on July 1st, subbing for Ronnie Schell who is taking a leave to fulfill some concert engagements. Ronnie will re-join the cast in early fall. Mr. Dybas joins BARBARA MINKUS (Picon Pie), MARCIA RODD (The Last of the Red Hot Lovers) and STEVE ROSSI (of Allen & Rossi) in the revue written and directed by Saul Ilson (The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour) with musical staging by Rudy Tronto.
