Urban Stages, in association with producer/director/lyricist and Director of Musical Programming Peter Napolitano, today announced that Tony Award Nominee Stephanie D'Abruzzo will join the line-up for their sixth series of musical evenings entitled WINTER RHYTHMS 2014, beginning Tuesday, December 2nd and continuing through Sunday, December 14th at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street, just East of 8th Avenue).

The Best of Broadway & Cabaret come out in support of the Actors' Temple, (est. 1917) tonight, Monday, November 18, 2013 at 7:00 PM. The Fourth Annual Concert Fundraiser will take place at the Temple, 339 West 47th Street. This musical celebration will benefit the theater district historic landmark which has been struggling to survive in recent years.

Santa Monica Playhouse presents Actor's Repertory Theatre (ART) in the return engagement of the 'dazzling' (Daily Bruin) original Jewish musical, BACKSTREET, a passionate and whimsical portrait of life, love, and loyalty played out by a family of Backstreet Ladies in a house of Jewish 'working girls' in the New York ghetto, circa 1905. This gem from the Playhouse Jewish Heritage Program by the creators of the immensely popular Sholom Aleichem quartet of plays - Author! Author!, Because of You, The Clown Prince and The Great Fair - and part of the ongoing Santa Monica Playhouse (SMP) 50th Anniversary Celebration of Theatre, opens May 15, 2010.
